Accessibility statement

Standard and conformance level

The site is built to Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which adopts the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and is also checked against WCAG 2.1 level AA. These adjustments are made under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

The site meets those requirements across the great majority of its pages and components. Rather than claim full conformance, we prefer to set out the limitations we know about below.

What is accessible

• Full keyboard operation: every link, field, button and menu is reachable with Tab, activated with Enter or Space, and dismissed with Esc. A visible focus indicator follows the path, and every page opens with a "skip to main content" link.
• Semantic structure: ordered headings, marked navigation, main content and footer regions, and tables with row and column headers — so a screen reader can move through a page by structure rather than only in reading order.
• Colour contrast meets level AA in the light and the dark theme alike. No information is carried by colour alone; every colour is accompanied by text or an icon.
• Text scales to 200% and the layout reflows at 320 pixels wide with no loss of content or function. Text is real text rather than images, so it grows with your browser settings.
• Full right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic alongside left-to-right English, including switching language from any page without losing your place.
• The operating system's reduce-motion preference is honoured, and animations and transitions are switched off. Nothing on the site moves, flashes or changes on its own, and no action is under a time limit.
• Status messages — a report loading, a save, a deletion, an error — are announced to screen readers through a live region, without moving focus away from what you are working on.
• Every field has a persistent label rather than placeholder text alone, and error messages are given in text and tied to the field they belong to.
• Printing and saving to PDF expand every collapsed section first, so the printed copy carries the full report.

How this is tested

Every change to the site runs automated accessibility checks (axe-core) alongside the rest of the build gates, at the level of a single component and over whole pages in both the light and the dark theme. We also test keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader reading by hand. Automated checks catch only part of what can go wrong, which is why your feedback matters.

Known limitations

• Some values arrive from the government registries as free Hebrew text and are shown verbatim on the English and Arabic pages too. Those values are not currently marked up as a separate language, so a screen reader may pronounce them with the page language’s accent.
• The comparison table is wider than a phone screen and scrolls sideways. The scroll area is keyboard-operable, but a narrow screen still needs horizontal scrolling to reach every column.
• The PDF is produced by your own browser’s print dialogue, so its internal accessibility structure depends on that browser and is outside our control.
• Continuing to an external service — creating a sale agreement at Huzim, for example — takes you off this site. The accessibility of that service is its operators’ responsibility.
