Frequently asked questions

Is the vehicle check free?

Yes. The check is completely free, with no sign-up and no payment. The information comes from open government registries and is available to everyone.

What does the vehicle report include?

The report includes registration details from the Ministry of Transport, licensing-test history and mileage, ownership history (without names), open manufacturer recalls, model specifications, importer list price and an emissions score.

Where does the data come from?

All data is fetched directly from Israel’s open government databases (data.gov.il), including Ministry of Transport registries — private and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, heavy vehicles and more.

What is the buyer check?

The buyer check summarizes red flags before buying a used car: open recalls, registered structural modifications, registration validity, unusual annual mileage and the number of ownership changes.

What do I need to check a vehicle?

Just the vehicle’s license plate number — 7 or 8 digits. No VIN, owner details or sign-up required.

Does the check expose personal details?

No. The public registries contain no owner names or identifying details, and searches are not stored on any server — search history is kept only on your device, if you enable it.
