Is the vehicle check free?
Yes. The check is completely free, with no sign-up and no payment. The information comes from open government registries and from specifications importers and manufacturers published, and is available to everyone.
Is this an official Ministry of Transport site?
No. This is an independent service that presents the Israeli government open datasets (data.gov.il) in readable form. The data comes from the official source, apart from the performance figures importers and manufacturers published, which are marked as such; the site itself is not official.
Does the check expose personal details?
No. The public registries contain no owner names or ID numbers, and we do not keep a history of your searches on our servers — search history is kept only on your device, if you enable it. We do keep some public registry data, such as the odometer reading from each annual test; the privacy policy explains what, for how long, and how an owner can ask for its deletion.
How often is the data updated?
Each source updates independently. The retrieval time in the report records when we received the data, not when the vehicle changed. Source updates may appear with a delay.
