How the estimate works
Yearly cost = km a year ÷ 100 × kWh per 100 km × price per kWh. The monthly figure is a twelfth of the yearly one.
The automatic price is the Israel Electric Corporation’s home consumption charge including VAT, as its tariff page states it. Fixed charges, time-of-use rates, public charging and supplier discounts are not included; enter your own price to use them.
Charging losses are not included: the energy drawn from the socket is usually somewhat more than the car’s consumption figure.
